PureComp: Rated PC Mixtape

I want the first mixtape featured on this site to be my homie PureComp's Rated PC Mixtape. You want hood shit? Check. Lyricism? Check? Versatility? Check. Check. Check, Damnit. Although the content is "Aggressive" (I owe 50 Cent a check for that one), the vibe is mellow with Melodic Hooks and Smooth beats kinda like some old Bone shit. Songs like "Talkin' Bout You" make me wonder if there is a certain target to the venom being sprayed and shit like "O They Shootin" sounds like the way Flocka wanted to do "O Lets Do It". The beat for "Last Breath" reminds me of a Clams Casino joint for Lil B or ASAP Rocky, and fits the subject matter .If I had to make any criticism of the tape, I would say that half the hooks can slightly get to sounding alike, but that would be me nitpicking. In an era of gimmicks, "Girlfriend" jeans, rappers in skirts (excuse me, kilts), and Degrassi High's "Most Likely to Simp Strippers" Winner, Drake, this shit is definently a breath of fresh air.
